The 12th APRU Multi-Hazards Symposium was hosted by Kyoto University on 7-8 March 2016. More than 90 faculty and students participated in the event and the representatives from World Bank and NGO also joined. 46 numbers of papers were presented at eight sessions in two days and the structure and discussion in the symposium were guided by four priority areas of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction (SFDRR).
