The UNISDR Asia and the Pacific Office established the UNISDR ASTAAG in May 2015. Program Coordinator of the APRU-IRIDeS Multi-Hazards Program was invited to the first meeting on establishment of an Asia Science Technology and Academia Advisory Group held on 14 May 2015 at Beijing Normal University, China.
